Looking for Some New Year's Resolutions?

With the beginning of the new year and the new semester, there's no better time as a law student to start off your studies (and your lifestyle) on the right foot!

The Law Library is currently featuring a display on our lower level which offers some resources on leading a balanced and productive life as a law student and lawyer.  If you're looking to adopt a new resolution, we've included a list of 10 tips (published by the ABA Law Student Division here) on being a happy, healthy and honorable law student and lawyer.  Among the top 10:

  • Make time for friends
  • Make time for fun
  • Be nice to everyone
  • Learn to prioritize
  • Family comes first
  • Protect your health

The display also includes some of the Law Library's print and electronic resources that discuss finding balance for law students and lawyers. For example, the display includes titles such as:

The Lawyer’s Guide to Balancing Life and Work / by George W. Kaufman

Thrive: A New Lawyer’s Guide to Law Firm Practice / by DesirĂ©e Moore

Come check out the display and find some inspiration for your new year's resolutions!
